Artist's Description

I just returned from hiking in these beautiful slots canyon, having my breath taken away by their intense colors and shapes. They are systematically being dismantled and taken out of national monument status by the Trump administration. Anyone concerned for interested in these natural colored art shapes that took thousands of years to create needs to become involved in saving the Escalante and Bear Ears from oil exploration, coal mining, and other mineral extraction activities. Please help save the Escalante and Bear Ears by supporting environmental organizations and through contacting political representatives and senators about saving the Escalante and Bear Ears areas by reinstating their full National Monument status.
