Description
The wonderful blue polemonium, or Sky Pilot, growing at almost 14,000 feet on Mt Whitney in Sequoia National Park sings out the Eric Burden song to me, "Sky Pilot, how high can you fly? You'll never, never, never reach the sky!"

Beautiful!!!
Doug Scrima replied:
These wonderful flowers only grow above 12,000'. Whenever I see them, it reminds me of the old 60's song, "Sky Pilot."
